Plains Braided Headband Knit Kit
By popular request, I`m very excited to launch Westlake Knit Kits! The Plains Braided Headband is an elegant accessory for chilly weather that`s simple to make and to wear. Easy to throw on whether your hair is up or down, in a messy bun or carefully styled. It`ll have you looking fab, even if you`re just rushing out the door for groceries.
The Pattern
The Braided Headband was one of my first ever original designs, and its sleek, simple lines and easy, breezy style make it a timeless accessory. Simple, clear instructions will help you learn and practice your cabling technique as you knit your own cute new headband. This easy-to-follow pattern is suitable for intermediate beginners to advanced knitters.
The Yarn
The Plains Yarn collection features super soft, lightweight and lofty 100% Peruvian Highland sheep`s wool. Choose from 9 rich, earthy shades, including Lichen and Indigo, which I hand dyed in Toronto!
The Needles
Gorgeous and buttery smooth birch knitting needles, beautifully handcrafted in Nova Scotia.
Kit includes:
- 1 mini skein of 100% wool in your choice of colour
- 1 pair of 8mm birch knitting needles
- 1 brightly coloured darning needle
- 1 pattern booklet for the Plains Braided Headband
Each kit comes in a cotton project bag that I hand dip dyed with indigo, so they`re ready to be gifted... to a loved one or to yourself;)

Materials:
Choose your own earthy shade of soft 100% Peruvian Highland sheep's wool, which has both natural moisture wicking properties and built in insulation!
Garment care instructions:
Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.
