This big and beautiful shawl pattern calls for 1540 yards of fingering weight yarn, or the equivalent of 4 skeins, BUT it calls for 7 colours. With the kit, you can get just the amount of yarn you need to achieve the 7 colour fade effect, without breaking the bank on 7 full skeins.
Andrea Mowry's pattern is easy to knit, and uses a clever combination of yarn overs and knitting two togethers to create the open lacework effect- it looks way harder than it is! It's a large shawl that takes a while to knit, but you will be in love when it's done! The bouncy drape of Woodland merino works wonderfully with the pattern and wrapping yourself in this shawl will be a comfort and delight.

The kit comes packaged in a recycled paper box that's ready made for gifting.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The kit does not include knitting needles
- Because these yarns are naturally dyed, colour may vary slightly from those pictured.
- The final colour section will be shorter than pictured in the sample shawl (Blackberry), as a mistake was made in this shawl requiring me to add extra length:)
