Louet's stand alone skein winder allows a user to clamp a skein winder to a table to be used with any brand or type of spinning wheel. It can be clamped vertically or horizontally to a table, and creates skeins 52" in circumference. It's center point is spring loaded, so it folds up for easy storage. It's made of beech wood and smoothly finished to prevent snagging.
It's a very handy tool for indie dyers and spinners alike. No more winding by hand round and round the niddy noddy. It will save you sooo much time!! I've only used it once, so it's in perfect condition. I really love it- it's a very high quality tool- I just have too many now:)
